Lamiri, the city where it all begins.
Tomorrow will be the first session of my new D&D campaign. Having not played in about a year I am nervous, but excited. We will be starting off in the port city of Lamiri, in the Tanishi Empire. The city is the trade capital of Tanis.
The players stories so far are:
Hassan: A trained assassin and bodyguard of the Sultan of Valadar, who has been tasked to find and save Princess Saffra of Valadar from what was once his brother in arms, but has seemingly gone rogue. He is in Lamiri following a tip that the Princess and her Captor were seen there.
Willow: A Sun Elf girl raised by Trolls who has set out on her own on a adventure of self exploration, and has found herself in the city.
Shekhar: An inscetoid soldier who outgrew his usefulness to his hive and was taken in by a Moyashima Monastery and trained in the martial arts. His body honed, his mentors decided it was time for him to hone his mind as well and see the world beyond.
Ryoko: A Moon Elf bounty hunter, hiding under the guise of an entertainer. She was hired by Sheik Harrashim to retrieve his bride, Princess Saffra, and kill the man who stole her away on the night before their wedding. She was cursed by a night hag to take the form of a drider. She can shift forms at will.

The city is divided into four major parts. The Upper city where the Magistrate and the other nobility live and work. The Marketplace where the goods brought in can be sold and traded, many merchants set up shop here. The Burrows/The Docks, where the main of the supplies and goods are received and stored. And the Dregs, where the dock workers and the lower class make their homes. This is also where the lower class tavern is located, where the party may stay. We’ll see what they decide to do.

Made a map for my upcoming campaign.
It’s not great, pretty crappy if I’m honest, but it maps out where some major things are so I’m happy with it, for what it is.

I have a little info written up and I will be posting more as I figure it out, to keep everything cataloged.
Norn
Norn is a world within the realms, still young and teeming with life. The world is illuminated by a large red sun during the day and three smaller moons at night.
Tanis
Nestled deep in the jungles of Norn lies the Tanishi Empire, ruled by the elves of the Sun Goddess. The sun elves of this land are tall and leanly muscled, with olive skin and most often golden or red features. Also common in these lands are the wood elves, shorter and usually of brown or black hair, though other colors are not uncommon. The jungles are also the home to an Ancient race of Lizardfolk, who at one time warred with the Sun elves of Tanis, but have now become a fixture of the society, melding their cultures. With in the lush jungles one will also find tribes of Tabaxi and some of the many races of Troll. The Tanishi worship many Gods, but hold the highest regard for the Sun Goddess. The Lizardfolk, also worship many, and have even adapted some of the Sun Elven Gods. The empire is under the harsh rule of of the God Queen, Artemisia.
Races of Tanis:
The Tanishi Elves come in the Sun and Wood varieties.
The Tabaxi of Tanis resemble jungle cats, and are tall and lean.
Lizardfolk denotes many different tribes, united under a common rule. The varieties range from Classic Lizardfolk, Dragonborn, and Yuan Ti, amount others.
The Troll race was the first to awaken on the world of Norn, and as such are sagely, though can still be fierce. The Trolls of Tanis are large humanoids with massive tusk, that are present in both the males and females. Their skin and coloration ranges from violets, green, blues, and even black, but other colors are possible.
Goblin are a rare sight, but there are small tribes present, as well as even more rarely their furry cousins the Orlen.
Valadar
Stretching to the south of Tanis is the Wastes of Valadar, a harsh desert that has claimed the lives of many that faced its dangers unprepared. The sands of Valadar glow white hot in under Norn’s red sun. Deep within the wastes, found only by those brave, or foolhardy enough to venture deep into the harsh lands is the oasis kingdom of Aba’diin, ruled but the Sultan, (Name Pending). The city of Aba’diin encircles the rich oasis that gives life in the desert. A lush garden is hidden deep within the walls of the palace. The entire city is constructed in concentric walls, the rise toward the zenith of the palace of the Sultan, made of polished white sandstone, and rare rubies, giving it a blinding brilliance in the desert sun. The Kingdom of Valadar is the first Kingdom of man. Founded scantly a century ago, but has quickly become a thriving metropolis.
The races of Valadar:
Humans compose the majority of the population of the Valadarian peoples. The humans of Valadar are of dark complexion and features. Though many have taken to the safety of the cities, many still travel as nomads, like their ancestors before them, in caravans that can range from single families to whole villages. The largest of such are ruled by Sheiks, some of whom rival the power of the Sultan, himself, and would gladly take his kingdom for their own.
Valadarian Tabaxi are much like their Tanishi cousins, but stouter and with shorter and lighter colored hair, many with bangled markings, and sharper ears.
Sun Elves can be found in small groups in Valadar, usually exiles or those seeking to escape the Queen’s harsh rule. To unassociate them selves with the society they refer to themselves as Sunishi.
Tieflings and Earth and Fire Genasi are rare tho few exists with in the kingdoms.
Moyashima
The kingdom of the Moon Elves. Moyashima is an archipelago shrouded within a thick magical mist that obscures the light of the sun. The three main islands of Moyashima are large and crescent in shape, each is named for one of the moon goddesses.

Sticker shop
I am planning to open a sticker shop on my old Etsy account. I have a few ideas for stickers right now. I am going to start small, and see where this all goes, I guess.

My first idea is for a set of 5 League of Villains Polaroid like stickers. And we’ll go from there. I hope to make stickers for my other interests as well, but it all depends, I guess. I really want this to work out.
I ordered some test stickers to see how they will turn out. I’ll be updating when I get them.

Got to play my new character!
My friend hosted a dnd game, for the first time while. It was great fun, and I got to play my new character. She’s the same character that I created in Baldur’s Gate 3. I got to expand a little more on her story, and I was very happy with how it went.

I played her as a sorceress with a Fey background. She was fun to play, chaotically charming imo. Idk if the other characters would agree tho, she tore apart their office. She was born to the Spring Court in the Fey Wild, but at a young age she was sent to the Court of Night, along with her older sister. She grew up as a lady of the court. The Lands of the Court of Night boarders the Prime Material Realm at twilight, so she has often visited, and has set off on an adventure in the Prime Material, where she met up with the party of paranormal investigators who had heard tell if a ghost in the wood she was inhabiting. The ghost turned out to be her and she followed them back to their office/home, and mischief ensued.

My boyfriend made me a mini for her on Hero Forge. So cute!

Nerdy stuff
First things, first. I got some new pretty dice in the mail yesterday.

I am really happy with my new acquisitions. My boyfriend called me a dice goblin. I am totally ok with that.
Next, I have been playing Baldur’s Gate 3 with my boyfriend and his brother. It is a lot of fun! My character is a high elf, whom I headcannon has an archfey ancestor, and that her family comes from the Feywild. She is mischievous, but good-natured. Her name is Nyadri.

I’m head over heels for one of the npcs. (I mean when am I not.) He’s snarky and tragic. What is not to love?

My boyfriend character is gorgeous. I would simp for her.

He is very good at making characters, they always turn out so well.

Days blend together.
Each day tends to feel the same, recently. Not in the typical way, I suppose. It’s hard to explain really. Everything just feels so normal sometimes, and then the crashing realization hits of what is actually going on. Some days its almost like this could become the new normal. It’s strange to say the least. I’m grateful for all the spare time, I just wish it was under different circumstances. I am more then a little fearful of this whole thing. The world is a scary place, right now. I am trying my best to stay occupied and keep my mind active, as I tend to dwell on things, otherwise.
I decided to print more dragons, just for funsies. Currently, my printer in working on a red dragon, and then I plan to print up a Brass and Copper dragon. I am planning to print the whole spectrum of chromatic and metallic. I can’t wait to paint them all up. I am considering getting an air-brush at some point. I think it will make painting a bit easier once I learn how to properly use it.

Dragon and more to come.
I’ve been 3D printing this dragon for the last couple days.

Finally got him all together and I am very pleased with the result. My cousin helped me name him. Calemvir the Cerulean. I love him. I gave him a little dice hoard.
Still not sure what is going on with work, but I will find things to do until then. Look forward to more prints from my 3D printer.

Still uncertain...
So no real word from work yet about when we will be going back. I, for one, am getting anxious to get back to work, but I do understand that if that cannot be done safely, then I need to be patient, and wait for the all-clear. I haven’t been up to much. Just running my 3d printer like crazy, mostly. I haven’t really even painted any of my new miniatures, I’ve just been assembling them and leaving them unpainted. Haha.
That’s about all that is currently going on...

May 4th ?
Just heard from someone, that I may not be heading back to work until the 4th of May. I have no idea what I am going to do til then.
Either way, I have gotten back into painting my miniatures. Here’s a few recent ones:

And a dramatically back lit photo, just for kicks:

I’ve also got my 3D printer up and running. It’s whirring as I type this. I got this little guy to print out, finally.

He is for a dear friend, and he’ll be off to his new home soon. I really hope they like him. 🥰

Chunky Book
Still no word about when I am going back to work. I’ve been waiting for a call for a heads up, but have yet to receive any word. Not that I want to risk going back too soon. I would just appreciate a timeframe, is all. But is really doesn’t seem like that is happening anytime soon.
I got commissioned by my roommate today to make her a book. Took me about 5 hours, and a lot of folding and cutting. It’s my chunkiest book yet. 200 pages.

It was fun making it, but I think I deserve a little break. She seemed really happy with it. So, I am happy.
